AFM Filter Media - Activated glass for use in drinking water and swimming pools.
In smaller pool filters with a diameter less than 800 mm, 50% of AFM2 is placed on the bottom and 50% of AFM1 on top of the AFM2. The total volume of AFM1 and AFM2 should be 85% of the filter's designed sand volume.
For larger diameter filters, AFM3 is required on the distributor base. Consult your Hidroteco sales advisor.
