What are PFAS?
PFAS (perfluoroalkyl substances) are a family of chemical compounds used in numerous industrial and consumer products for their non-stick, water-repellent, and heat-resistant properties. They are known as "forever chemicals" because they are highly stable and almost impossible to break down in the environment.
The problem? By accumulating in water, soil, and living organisms, they pose a significant risk to human health and the ecosystem. Therefore, it is crucial to be sure of the quality of the water we consume daily, both for ourselves and our loved ones.
Why are PFAS dangerous?
They're invisible and tasteless, but they leave their mark. PFAS accumulate in the body: they can disrupt the hormonal system, weaken the immune system, and even increase the risk of disease. Because of this, more and more countries are introducing strict limits on their presence in drinking water.
PFAS: How do they get into our water?
Industrial effluents, textile processing, waterproofing coatings: PFAS are everywhere and travel for miles through groundwater, seeping into rivers, lakes, and even domestic water supplies. Even seemingly pristine areas can be at risk. If water isn't treated properly, PFAS can end up directly in our drinking water.
How can we limit the problem in our homes?
PFAS are smaller and more persistent than other contaminants: specific technology is needed to capture and remove them effectively.
Why choose PFAS Armor™?
Installing PFAS Armor™ provides numerous benefits:
Reduction of dangerous toxins: drastically reduces PFAS (up to 95%).
Protection against long-term effects: minimizes the risk of prolonged exposure to PFAS.
Improved water quality.
Elimination of unpleasant tastes and smells.
Defense against industrial pollution: protects homes near factories or industrial areas.
