ATLAS FILTRI'S HYDRA TRIO SELF-CLEANING FILTERS DIFFER FROM OTHER FILTERS ON THE MARKET THANKS TO THEIR THREE-STAGE TREATMENT WITH A SELF-CLEANING PRE-FILTER AND POST-FILTRATION CARTRIDGES.
The first stage features a stainless steel mesh SX (DOE) RAH cartridge. During this phase, backwashing removes coarse sediment from the cartridge's outer surface and expels it through the dedicated drain equipped with an anti-reflux system.
In the next two stages, any SX-type cartridge can be used to further refine filtration or treat the water. It has IN/OUT connections with 1" NPT plastic threads.
